Old Time HD Rider
Stopped at a rest stop today and when I came out there was this older dude (70's - ?) checking out my bike. He had a little Bull Dog on a leash with him.
He asked me if my Harley was a "74". Pretty cool, this guy remembers 74's.
I said no, they make 103's now. We talked technical stuff about engines and drives...he said he rode an Electra Glide back in the 50's. (I didn't know they made them back then, maybe he was fuzzy on the year)
I showed him the detachable windshield and explained the size and power of the Switchback, and he started telling me about his EG fairing and radio etc. Asked me "does it cruise good at 80"? I said "yep, 80 +, nice and smooth". He must've been remembering the Old Days.
Then a female voice came at us from the sidewalk and said "the dog's feet are getting hot". We apologized (forgot the dog was standing there), and he went back to his wife who wasn't impressed, and kept grumbling at him, and wouldn't even talk to me...
Nice moment with an Old Time HD Rider (still putting up with the wife's nagging too).
I jumped on and rode off while she was still grumbling at him.

I came out of a Menards a few weeks ago and there were two guys discussing if my Street Bob was a 1958 or 59. I told them they were both wrong, 1960 and they believed me.
My father is in his 70's and still lays down over 30K miles a year on his Harleys (usually has between 4 and 6 of them) He just built this 2005 Super Glide into a late 70's early 80's FLH clone.
