Default Saddle bags

I am ready to put a set of bags on my 07 Low Rider. I am down to 2 choices and want to know if any of you have experiance with either of them.

1. HD Bags 90369-06A with aftermarket quick detach brackets (EZ Brackets or something like them).

or

2. Leatherpros bags with the strap over the top.

The Leatherpros bag looses some space inside due to being molded around the shock. I have not seen the HD bag so I do not know if it does to. The Leatherpros bag can be locked to keep your things your things and the HD bag does not but they cost more?

Any input would be great.

I looked at all of those for my '06 SG. Settled on Boss Bags. Large enough to be usefull, look good on the bike, easy to remove, looks clean after removal, lockable, strap over the top. Darned expensive, though.

Leatherpros were #2 to me.

H-D were not really on the list. Too expensive for what you get.

I looked at a lot of bags with the wuick removal bracketsm - Ghost and EZ. I didn't like they way the brackets stuck out so far.

Dam right about the expense on the Boss and Leatherpros bags. The guys that run those companies are brothers. I have talked to both of them. I was leaning to the Leatherpros because of the strap you have to use on the Boss bags. Do you have any trouble getting the strap hooked or unhooked with stuff in the bag?

My HD Dealer does not stock the HD bags and so offers a 20% discount from list price if you order them. That takes some of the sting out of the HD bags

Boss Bags!!!

I was able to tie down my tent and bed roll on the straps during my Sturgis trip in 2004. Allowed me to better utilize the touring rackand tourpack.

Love those straps!

Buddy of mine had the HD bags for the Dyna and after seeing my Boss Bags sold his HD's and bought his own Boss Bags.

I have a picture somewhere of the loaded bags and bike for the Sturgis trip, will have ot find it.

Do the Boss bags have as much space in them as the HD bags? The Boss bags loose a little space to the dent in the back for the shock. I don't know if the HD bag does the same thing?

After looking at my buddys HD bags, and a few other HD bags, I think the Boss Bags have a much greater capacity.

I am always approached by bikers looking for a set of bags. Every one so far has raved about my set. THebags come off in seconds, can be locked from the inside and outside for theft protection of bags and contents.

Thanks Buttman,

The leatherpros or the Boss bags are sounding like what will fill the bill for me.
