Is it possible to adjust the rear shocks on a wide glide and if so how?

ABSOLUTELY NO OFFENSE IS INTENDED but it could be due to weight. I weigh 300lbs and bottom mine out quite a bit but that's usually on a random unseen pothole. It also depends on what the factory adjustment was set at, you can dial it in using a spanner wrench, you spline the wrench up to the holes on the bottom of your suspension and adjusting to your manual, to get that info go and LOLZ

Weight......have you considered not only your body weight, but the weight of the gear you are wearing too? In full leathers you can add a whole lot of pounds to the equation. Add more for baggage, or riding 2 up. Bags and such add too.

I weigh near 200# in my skivvies....so add for clothes, boots, and general bs I carry and you can add 10-20 lbs right there. My FXRG jacket must weigh 20#, chaps 5#.......so right there I am up to 240 or so......riding solo with no baggage or saddle bags.

All I'm saying is it all adds up, and those shocks weren't meant for weight like that.

I just added a set of 430 Progressives and love them. They can handle the weight and are super easy to adjust for more weight for trips and such. There are others for even more money that will work just as well.

Ohlins baby, that's the way to go. If you go Progressive, get the 970's.
