I've seen the previous threads on the Fastback but just want to confirm for my own needs...

Currently rolling on a LePera Silhouette Solo (think BareBones) and it's just not enough cush and support for me with my bad back. I've also got a LePera Daytona but it doesn't have the profile I want for daily solo riding. The longest rides I see in the foreseeable future are up to 500 miles...no iron butts anytime soon.

BTW, the Silhouette Solo is up for sale...PM me an offer or for pics (you can barely see it in the sig pic ). Like new condition except for one scuff that's barely noticeable.

 

i have one and feel like i can ride on it all day. it's not cushy but instead very supportive, kind of like the corbins.

I went for the LePera solo because it follows the lines of the bike so well, but I think it was a major contributor to my lower back flareup this past summer...no support at all. The Fastback is the best looking 2-up I've seen...good to hear it's functional as well.

 

also, c&c customer service is outstanding. i spent some time on the phone with them last year because i wanted the dimensions of the seat to be altered due to my height. they were informative, patient, and even emailed pictures that i could view as i spoke with them. there was a $75 fee to pay for an altered seat since they have to make a one-off cover. i wasn't thrilled about that at the time, but i'm so happy with the seat i got over it real quick.
