Could you guys give me tips on the best oil/oils to use to service the TC88. I ordered a service manual, but until it gets here I need to service my bike. Could the same synthetic oil be used all the way around, engine, tranny, primary? Or, is it recommended to use different viscocities/types.

One more question: What is the largest size tire you can mount on a stock 2000 FXDWG rim?

You can put the HD synthetic in all 3.
The question of what is best, or what is perceived to be best, is a topic that has already been beat up quite a bit. I would guess a forum search would yeild many results.

How many qts per service does it take? I'm going to order some online and would like to stock up at least enough for two changes.
