Default 1000 mile service on M8

What does this service include? I have used synthetic on all my bikes in the past. Wondering are there any thoughts on using synthetic in all three holes on a new Milwaukee 8?

Your owners manual has the information you seek. Otherwise http://www.adventureharley.com/check...nance-schedule

Your oil question is best handled by the weirdos that hang out here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/oil-a...ted-topics-30/

I did SE Syn3 in all 3 holes after the 1,000 on my M8. I'm at 7700 and doing fine, no issues.

Regarding the 1,000 mile service, not mentioned in the owners manual is the removal of fibrous paper, proprietary inks, and/or plastic materials from the wallet area...

Same here minus the additional miles. Will probably use Lucas going forward as it has been my synthetic of choice last few years. Amsoil before that. Still like Amsoil but if I don't have time to do it myself my Indy favors the Lucas. I am okay either way.
