I have the same problem and the Arai Signet-Q will be my next full face helmet. This is what Arai's web site says about the fit.

LONG OVAL
(Very Long front-to-back, very narrow side-to- side). On this end of the scale, we have the Signet-Q model, offering additional forehead room for those who find that most helmets have pressure points in the forehead.

Heres a link to a Revzilla review.

The Bell RS-1 seems pretty narrow. I have more of a round head and when I bought a large it pinched the sides of my head (causing pain) and the front and back was loose. I normally wear a medium in Suomy, Arai (Corsair, RX7-RR, etc), and Shoei.

Had the same problem with Nolan and HJC. Been wearing a Fulmer since '02. fits my "egg" head perfectly.

You should check out the Bell RS-1. I have a more narrow head vs. those with the melon heads and it fits really well. I had an HJC before and it sucked a$$.

Arai Signet-Q. I've had 4 Arai helmets over the last 17 years of riding (new one every 5 years). They are awesome quality (hand laid fiberglass shells) and fit my long-oval mellon well. They have different thickness cheekpads available too.

The SAI visor is great and I put in the tinted liner that is "moisture absorbing" and it works as advertised. I've ridden all winter long, down to 17 degrees and zero fogging.

My advice, try them on and get a snug fit. My first 3 helmets were large and after a few months of breaking in, they were a bit loose. I took a chance and tried a medium this time and it was snug at first and now fits great.

Check out this site . They got great prices and good reviews on helmets. This is where I bought my second icon helmet from. And they always have sales going on. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/

Hey thanks for all your help. I found a ff by Icon here local. Icon Airmada. Its their latest design. Narrow oval. Adjustable vents every where. Great reviews. And priced well. They make it in flat black $190.00. OR I'm digging the orange Medicine man. I have a orange w/black flamed 2011 Wg . IT might be a little a much for a Harley. ????
