Tried searching but didn't see this question.

Just got my Cee Baileys 11.5" windscreen for my FXDXT but it only has the 2 bottom mounting holes. In the pics it looks like others are using all 4 stock mounts. Do I need to drill the top 2 or am I missing something?

Don't want to drill and risk cracking a new shield if I don't have to.

They Forgot to drill the top 2 mounting holes. It should have all 4.

Cee Bailey's just called me back, apparently the cut file was corrupt so they are rushing me a new part and told me to keep the first one. Good customer service and glad to see they made it right.

 

Glad you had a good experience with them. Ive ordered multiple shields from them and service was always great. Placed an order a month ago and have yet to get the right part or speak to a knowledgeable person on the phone. Oh yeah, and was charged twice for the shield. So ive already sent back the old shield, so have no shield and have paid for 2

 

Mine Cee hade all 4 holes. Get the drill out.
