Default First ride! & Windshield question

Got out for a bit on my new to me 2011 Fxdc. Motor wise, stock other than slip on mufflers.

It was alot smoother ride than what I thought, surprised me actually. Everyone says dynas ( Harley's) vibrate. But IMHO smooth as could be going down the road.
Power is great, could only wonder what a stage 1 would be like.

It does have a H-D compact quick detach windshield. The buffeting I thought was bad, could hardly keep sunglasses on(no helmet). I adjusted the shield as high and low as it would go, didn't seem to help. Tried to stick my hand around the front to try to stop the buffeting, seemed to help when I blocked the air from between the top of the headlight and the opening of the windsheild headlight cut out.

Anyone have experienced this? Would a bigger headlight trim help?
Also noticed the drive belt is running on the side of the rear sprocket that is opposite of the wheel.

Any help appreciated

Try tilting the shield back at the top by adding washers to the bottom mounts.

Your scooter will change over the years. It will never be this tight again.

That's a funny post if you take the "s" out of scooter.

Say it's not true!
