The service manual says about 26 oz but when the fluid becomes visible in the bottom of the primary chaincase when the bike is standing upright is acceptable.

I just do what the service manual says for my 06 street bob. Add one quart. No problems so far.

From my experience, the factory capacity is a little different..Dry capacity is not the same as wet capacity...I usually put a qt in the tranny and the primary(I believe), however 3 full qts is too much oil for mine..I think a complete disassembly and reassembly would require the full amount that it says in the manual.....However I am with whiff...the tranny and primary don't need to be as exact...imo

Tompop,
That is a sweet WG. Do you have any more pics? That bike is screaming for a photo album.[sm=smiley20.gif]
