Default FXDF LED turn signal mirrors install

I've run a search and can't find any details on doing this install for the fat bob. Figured since its a long weekend, I'd give it a go. The HD instruction sheet isn't all that enlightening.

Wondering if someone that's done this on a fat bob give me some tips and give me a ball park of how long it will take? Thanks!

I've done it on a 2007 Street Bob... it took a long time because I was internally wiring the bars and mounted them underneath the grips, so routing the wires took a little longer.

The HD instructions are wickedly complicated but it's really not that hard...

I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have

Thanks Idodgimus, I'm diving into it tomorrow after the Rolling Thunder ride. I'm certain ill have loads of questions. Like you said, the instructions make it look like an 8 hour mission. We'll see how it goes.

It's really not as bad as they make out... Build the connectors, feed wiring through, attach em to the bars and plug them and the stockers into the y-harness.

There's LOTS of spare parts so don't let that freak you out

I wired up mine on my 2007 FXDB and eliminated the stock signals. I too will be happy to field any questions that you have.

Time will depend on what your desired end result.
