I would be all over that lol. I had wire extension kit laying around so used same color as pin that broke and just extended that wire. I'm almost positive those 2 black wires are reversed where their supposed to be.

Do what SLV said too and loosen the housing to make sure you don't have a pinch. That makes sense...After that, it is all wiring or connection in the molex...

Do you have a meter? If so, you can use it to check continuity to eliminate Molex issues. Just check on each side of the connector with them connected. If you have continuity, you have a good connection. After that, it has to be wiring in the wrong order...

I'd guess the pinched wire though considering everything on that side is out.

Loosen up the housing almost all the way and turn the switch on. If a pinch occurred, it could release with the loose housing. If not jiggle the wires inside the loose housing to see if you release a short.

Are these Z bars or other bars with a sharp corner? The corner can rub through insulation and cut wires or create a short.

Just a few thoughts.
I did the loosening of control housing and nothing. They are the road 6 customs 14" apes and I just refuse to think it rubbed wires raw although I know it is possible. I put heat shrink on the whole harness and wrapped in electric tape. Kind of last resort for me.
