Hey everyone, just curious about where people are getting their handlebar cable extension kits from. Im gonna be getting some West Coast Custom 14" Tbars and am wondering who I should buy from. I see burlybrand has a kit for 14" for $240. Anything better than that?

Burly stuff works, but I really wasn't impressed by the build quality and recommend looking at something from Magnum Shielding or a Drag Specialities kit. You can try the cheap stuff & do it over again with better cables (like I did) or do it a little spendier but properly the first time. Your call

 

I purchased a Burly 16" kit from Dennis Kirk for 169.00 and I was happy with it. I put 16" La Choppers Nice Curves on my 04.

 

I put Burly narrow apes, and cables on my Super Glide. Loved the bars, but the cables not so much. Just seemed cheap made /looking. JMHO.

 

I dont know about everyone else, but im going with Magnum Shielding for mine...

Motion Pro makes great low priced blackout cables. Magnum for the brake lines

 

I just ordered from magnum on sunday night. They shipped em out tuesday. I will update when they arrive but heard only good things thus far

 

I have a set of throttle/idle magnum cable I will sell you. Works well with 14-16 inch bars. I lowered to a 12 inch so I changed out the cables. PM if interested.
