I'm getting prepared for long distance riding and I would like your suggestion for a touring type seat for my '03 Superglide, I don't care if it looks silly on the bike as long as my *** can tolerate it for 400 - 600 or more miles per day, I'm not in to fancy designs with stitching or studs, what do you recommend? I would like to stay in the $300 - $400 range and would prefer 2 up

someone recommended these 3 but he's never ridden on them, I want some field tested recommendations...

C&C makes a tour and a sport tour, both awesome seats. I rode 500 miles in one day on the Sport tour on my FXDX with no issues

Rode about 700 miles in one day on my stock Fat Bob seat and it was actually not that bad, not as nice as the C&C though

 

Have C&C Sport Tour. Have not ridden long distances on it, but it is very comfortable. I like it.

 

Seats are like shoes IMO. Whats good for me might not work for you. I changed to a Mustang WVS w/bkrst last year and love it. All I can say is the backrest is a necessity on long trips for me....

 

Sundowner two up is the best I have ever had.

 

I could ride forever on my sundowner.

 

I have a C&C. It is quite comfortable.

 

Sundowner for me, butt never gets tired.
