Anyone have any experience with Mustangs Tripper Solo Seat
#11
I have the Wide Tripper solo with diamond stich pattern.
I've had 5 different seats on my FXDC, including the stock seat & the 2 I still currently have....Mustang Wide Tripper Solo & Corbin Dual Tour.
I've had the Wide tripper passenger seat, & it's just ok wife says...ok for short trips.
As far as the solo seat, for a minimal seat it's fairly comfortable & it looks great. Fit is so-so, as it is hard to get the hole lined up with the fender just right to put the screw in.
Mustang makes a good seat, but IMO there are better.
I use my Corbin most of the time, but throw this seat on when I get in a mood to strip my bike down for a short ride. It's my look cool/short trip seat. If you get the tripper, I recommend getting the WIDE tripper...it still looks narrow on the bike, but is by far more supportive on the sides.
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best:
Looks = 10
Comfort = 7
Quality = 8
Fit = 5
