Thanks for all the input. You guys are right. I wouldn't structurally alter anything. I could probably get away with lowering the suspension because that is a common procedure. Yes I plan to keep anything stock that comes off. Changing the bars usually means changing the controls , I don't know, that may be taking it to far if down the road someone wants to take it back to stock. No changing sheet metal can happen.
Maybe radical was to strong of word to use. Mild custom sounds better. Just enough to set it apart but not enough to destroy the limited addition value. The Arlan Ness Headlight is still in. ( so is the conical pointed air cleaner )
