I've been reading all the post on new bars and I can't decide. I went to the dealer to see if they had different ones on their current bikes. They didn't have much in that category. I went to wild 1 sitee and still can't make a decision. They did have some that were 2 up and 2 in but they didn't look like they would look right on my SG. I have been having a time with my right shoulder and I know its from reaching while riding. Do they make shorter then 12 inch bars? I'm worried they will be too tall. I'm needing more info from you guys on how you picked your bars. I know you can't try them out first I just want to be sure.
OK I'm listening
I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking about Khromewerks +2 Sweepers. I'm gonna give this guy a call too.

I like the idea of custom bar to my specs. You get this using a broom handle or something similar. Go to the site and see what he has to say, makes good sense. I'm kinds leaning to the +2 sweepers though, they're pretty close to what I would want. I wish they came in the larger diameter though.
Another vote for the +2 sweepers. The ease of installation, fit and feel of the bars, and price, make it a wonderful choice.
I chose these bars after searching for a few weeks, then luckily I found a post by a member that had just installed them, and he happened to be local, we met, I checked out the bars, went home and ordered them. I always suggest checking them out first if possible, but if you are going to make a blind decision, this one should be a good one.
I actually like the looks of mine. It wasn't until after I installed them did I realize how much more comfortable they are over stock. They do make 10" bars.

I love the looks of your bike. I wish I knew if I'd like my hands that high. Your bike is sweet!
Best bet is to go to dealers, etc on the weekend and look at peoples bikes in the lot. I ordered 13's thought the would be good, until I sat on one with 16's. I love my bars and glad I went higher. They are really comfortable.

Thanks man. It's coming along. My hands are just about even with my shoulders, maybe slightly lower. I am 5'11 with 30" inseam. Before the swap I would ride a couple hundred miles and have back pains. I have done a couple 500 mile trips in a day and did not get any pains.
