[QUOTE=djwhaley;12439869]If you are only trying to be loud go with v&h short shots, it doesnt get louder than that. thunderheader will give you better proformance, Ive run both and have the thunderheader now[/QUOT
the thunderheader is a deeper louder remarkable sound that is it's own.no other pipe sounds like it hands down . blows the short shots all to hell!

My favorite exhaust of all time. Had them on my last three Harleys, except the Fugly (don't know what I was thinkin???). Yes, my neighbors all loved my 11:1 compression 107 with a Thunderheader rolling to work at 6am every day LOL...

If you like to carve corners, you're eventually gonna have to do this:

You'll eventually wear a hole, even with 13.5" shocks...

Looks familiar... I need to twist mine. Bad feeling when your in a hard turn and the bike stops turning cuz your sliding on the pipe. What did that cost?

Does it ever hit the mid control mounts when joined rip on it or hit a bump?

Default Thunderheaders

Trust me, it is not us. If we had any control over it, they would ship same day!

If you take a look at EVERY Thunderheader product on our website, there is a long paragraph about the lead time. We posted this so that way anyone interested will know ahead of time, it can take a long time and there is nothing we can do about it. We want complete transparency in everything, and this is another way for you know, before you even order, what your getting into.

They have a great pipe with awesome sound and power! It just takes a little bit of patience. They are not a huge corporation with endless staff and materials. It is a family and their workers hand making these in the U.S. It's definitely worth the wait! You know its going to be a great product when the manufacturer can not even keep up with the demand.

Here is a copy of our disclaimer on our site on ALL Thunderheader products. We will not even let you order one with out accepting these terms.

Also, yes, we do not always find out the answer you want to hear right away from them. Some times it even takes us some time to get answers. They have many customers, and many pipes to make. Patience is key =D

As always, we will try to find out what we can for you if you ask.

Thank you,

The TH message from our site:
We appreciate your interest in Thunderheader pipes, however, if you are considering to purchase Thunderheader part(s) from us, you MUST read this notice before adding it to the cart in order to proceed:

We do not stock any Thunderheader products due to the Thunderheader warranty. The warranty starts the day Thunderheader ships their product, which ships directly to your location from Thunderheader.
Thunderheader cannot ship to any customer located in California. Please [click here] for more information.
All Thunderheader products generally take at least 2-5 business days to assemble, package, and ship their product. Please understand it may take longer for Thunderheader to complete your order for shipment. Also, please allow an additional 2-5 business days for it to be delivered at your shipping address. Thunderheader ships all their parts via UPS. A UPS tracking number will be forwarded to your email address as soon as it provided from Thunderheader. A signature is required upon delivery. We are not held responsible if the wait time exceeds your expected wait time. All Thunderheader parts are made to order and, occasionally, a part may be on backorder. If this is the case, we will notify you of any updates Thunderheader will pass on to us. If there are any warranty issues, Thunderheader requires you to send the product back for inspection, before they can replace it. In the rare event this needs to be done, we can send you a call tag if needed. If you have any questions, please call or email us before you place your order.

Thank you
Direct Cycle Parts

Well, I have been wavering between exhaust for a few years now but had decided on a Thunderheader a few months ago. Thanks to this post I just pulled the trigger and ordered one from Direct Cycle Parts. The new crown will just have to wait. :-)
