Well, here she is....my new 2013 Wide Glide! Dealer delivered it yesterday and warm enough today to take her out for the first ride. Will be looking to change exhaust soon, thinking mostly of a full system....liking the Bassani Firepower series.
This is my first Harley and so far really liking it....but noticed the braking isn't all that strong. Is this normal for the Dynas or is it because it is new?

 

Just ride it for awhile and enjoy the new bike....You'll love it just the way it is.

The brakes will break in, but they still won't be great unless you add good pads, or better yet, better calipers.

Great bike, bought the same one 14 months ago. The brakes will "wear in", but no comparison to the dual brakes of the Fat Bob. I have plans to add another front disc some day...
