The "Harley" battery is made by DEKA....Why not eliminate the middleman and just buy a DEKA battery.
I use DEKA batteries in everything I own and have been very pleased with their quality, longevity and customer service.

 

They sell Deka batteries at batterymart under different brand name, can't recall what exactly.

 

 

I've been doing some research on DEKA batteries.

NAPA: Legend Premium AGM Battery is made by DEKA

Autozone: Duralast Gold/Powersport AGM battery is made by DEKA

BatteryMart: Big Crank AGM is made by DEKA

I'm sure there are others, but so far I've been able to confirm these. Maybe it's time for a crossover list or a sticky.

Maybe others can chime in with what they have found. O'reillys has a listing that looks right (Sure Start Power Sport AGM), but I can't confirm the manufacturer. Same deal with Advance Auto Autocraft Sealed AGM Premium Powersport Battery.

 

Pretty sure HD marks up theirs just a tad....just because

 

Get you a Big Crank from Battery mart. It will be on your door step the next day. Much more cranking power than the stock battery.

 

Thanks for the info on Batterymart,the Big Crank looks good at a good price,but they heve an internet special for a really cheap price,i wonder how cheap i am after all.

Or you can forget about the old AGM/wet cell type battery technology and go with something new like the Lithium Ion ... Doesnt cost much more than a Harley battery and depending on how you take care of it..you can get 2-3 times the lifespan.
