Battery Goosed
Hi,the Battery off my 2011'FXDF is goosed.
Any suggestions on the best place to buy a lower cost alternative to the main Dealer prices,bike is in Tn.

Take it from someone who has learned the hard way, these low cost batteries are fine for a while, but the vibrations of our bikes kill them. HD batteries are made with shock absorbing interior walls to a absorb the vibrations and give you longer life.

Seriously, just get a sealed battery from Walmart. Last time I checked, they were made by the same manufacturer, with the same specs as the Harley batteries. Beyond that, you can make it as expensive and complicated as you want.

My original battery gave up too last Thursday morning when I tried to ride into work.
I did plenty of research over the weekend and I have decided to hit the dealer tomorrow morning on the way into work and pick up another Harley battery. It's for the same reason that I only use the Harley oil filter. I'm not one to hang on the dealers nuts either but its one of those things that I think Harley has figured out and I have found nearly no complaints other than price.

Thanks,for the replies.I'm not a cheapskate(that isn't the 1st requirement of Harley ownership)
But i'm not impressed with the Factory battery lasting less than 3 yrs.
I didn't know Wal-Mart sold m/c batteries,i'll check it out.

Big crank from battery mart .com that is what I have in my 07 ...it's now 3 or 4 year sold and I will probably replace it this year.
