Default A Purple Import

Out for a short ride this afternoon and a lady in a purple import crossed into my lane twice while she was texting. Just after the 2nd occurrence, I grabbed the clutch and blipped the throttle.....I thought she was going to jump out of her skin, she nearly hit the opposite curb.........damn texting drivers! I was probably 6-8 feet behind her, and her window was down. I don't think she even heard me until I made sure she did......crazy

Its getting worse and worse.

Over here the powers that be think dropping speed limits make roads safer.

All it does is makes it easier for cagers to:
Text
Tweet
Facebook
Read the paper
Do their make-up
Talk on the phone
Drink their soy latte

I'm beginning to think that texting, talking on the phone, applying make-up, shaving, reading the paper, or eating while driving is the law here.

Agreed.......I have a 25 mile drive to work. It's amazing what you see people doing while driving.

I was passing a car on the way to work earlier this week and was at the drivers door as he decides to take my lane without looking (no mirror or glance to the side), I clutched and rev'd as I down shifted to move out or slow down and he about crapped himself as well. The sad part is it isn't just on the bike, I was almost hit twice today in my STi.

The other day I saw a SUV with state police tags, stickers, and a couple other odds and ends showing support for state police. The lady driving the darn thing was on her cell phone. I couldn't help but shake my head.

well Holy Stereotype, Skinman...I was casually looking at the title and OPs member name and I really expected to see pics and excited commentary on a new purple Harley one of our international members imported to Denmark...

All cagers worry me. Distracted cagers put me into high alert. Stupid distracted cagers who get too close make me want to consider pulling out the .45 and making some holes in tires...

But that's just me...Glad you are OK...
