Actually, the SB and LR use two different mufflers and have different part numbers. The SB unit is a good deal longer.

There sure is no shortage of exhaust options for HDs. Thank god for Youtube.

I'm just waiting for other slip-on options for the LR. I have no desire to change out the head pipes.

had noisy shocks on iron, brought it back, they were loose, no problems with the new lr, but rear peddle is funny, got used to it though, get those shocks checked....

I will be keeping an eye on what every forum members does in terms of exhaust. So many options.

I finally got around to taking some pictures. I don't know why but some are a little out of focus. I am not a photographer. I installed the Supertrapp performance core for the SE Nightstick yesterday. It is a perforated metal baffle with pillow packing. The stock Nightstick baffle is just a straight metal tube with no perforations or packing. I running the muffler with a Supertrapp open end cap and 10 discs. The sound is real nice. It's deep and mellow without any kind of drone or ear bleeding. To me, it sounds like a V&H Pro Pipe that I had on a previous Street Glide, but not as loud and without the drone. Next up I am going to install a SE high flow AC and get the stage 1 download with my 1000 mile service. I want to eventually get a tuner but I think I will wait until the warranty runs out.

Very nice bike, 2>4. You are one of the few to get it in that color. I am hoping HD opens up the paint options for 2015.

Spent some time looking at the Star Raider. But ended up coming back to the LR. The LR has adjustable bars, mid mount controls, a tach, and weighs a good 70-80 pounds less than the Raider. Also, the LR has a 6 speed transmission. Would be nice if HD dropped the price a bit.

ikelove

go for it, get the lowrider
i traded my 06 dyna superglide, that i have had since new, for a 14 LR in black and couldn't be happier with the bike

I got about 450 miles on it so i am still takin it easy on it. i should be able to get out on it today and break the 500 mile break in, then i can ride it like i want, this bike feels great

I ordered all my stage 1 stuff through fuel moto and just got in yesterday. I got a stage 1 air cleaner, d and d fat cat (chrome) and a pre loaded power vision flash tuner. Not sure when i will install it. For some reason i want to finish the 500 miles stock so that i can rip on the bike stock, then install the stage one stuff and rip on it . I think it will be cool to see the difference with the butt dyno test.

anyway, you cant go wrong with this bike

Thanks for the info, hell hound.

Fuel Moto sure seems to be the place to get ones stuff.

Looking forward to when you get your Stage 1 parts on the bike.

Being new to HD, I am spending a lot of time researching.
