Default another tuner question

I need something I don't have to plug into a computer and stuff. I don't have time or patience for that lol. I'm also not real tuner savy so I would like something simple. I will stay stage 1 for quite a while and don't know that I'll ever go stage 2 honestly but it's possible. Im not looking to squeeze every single hp out of my setup. If i can get it great but im not willing to spend hours tuning and downloading constantly searching for the perfect tune. I need to run my intake and exhaust setup safely and ill take all the hp that comes with it. And do they all come with 02 sensors? Reason I ask is because my front bung is kinda stripped. It came that way but I worked the stock sensor in there and don't know what it'll be like removing get it. Had my eye on the fp3 from fuel moto but now I don't see it on the site as an option. Opinions? Thanks guys.

I come from an automotive background so i understand the concept of tuning just haven't spent much time messing with it, and never on a bike. With my current job I just don't have the time to dive into it and learn it enough to feel comfortable.

For your situation it might be worth a look at the S/E tuner and then have it dyno tuned. Or maybe even a power commander with the auto-tune feature.

The FP3 sounds like the best bet for you, you plug it in and use the app which does all the updates for you (app and firmware) through your phone and it tunes in the matter of minutes. My bike runs great with slip ons and a SE stage I intake, I'm sure dyno tuning with a more capable tuner would be the best bet but until I go past stage I I'm more than happy with the FP3 and plan on doing the auto tune in the future to see how that works out for me.

I have a 2014 street bob. I have looked at some you tube videos on the fuel pack and it looks pretty cool. I don't have a computer because my cell does everything I need it to. The fp3 app is what got me leaning towards the fuel pack. Now I see that you can downloads maps straight to the phone and it has auto tune, that's awesome. I'm guessing that's what I'll go with you unless anyone can bring up a really good reason not to.

I thought about the SE tuner but I just don't really want to give any harley dealer any more money. And they told me the tuner was like 450 and then 250 for the dyno pulls and tuning.

Basically they cause the o2 sensor voltage to run rich in closed loop where the majority of your riding is at.

So would someone run those with a tuner also?

Its would be pointless and would affect the way the tuner would function with the closed loop map. It would be like spankin your monkey with both hands at same time. The xieds are a inexpensive way to just enrichen the fuel mixture. Would likely be perfect for what it sounds like you want.
