Default Help adjusting shocks

I am wanting to adjust my 11 progressives, i have tried and stopped cause i couldnt get it to turn and didnt want to damage the chrome. How hard should these things be to adjust. Thanks

I don't know why the chrome would be damaged, are you using the proper Progressive shock wrench. If so , it should not hurt the chrome but they are hard to turn . Are you increasing or decreasing the pre-load. If youare still having problems get someone to lift up on your rear fender a little bit . That should help..Mark...

Like he said make sure you are using the properly designed wrench to get it to turn. If not you will F-up your finish. Dave...
