Default Harley Windshield or Aftermarket?

I've looked at National Cycle and Memphis Shades - when you add the quick release HW the price is pretty close to HD OEM

It's gonna be just for the Hwy rides so want the quick on/off

Any opinions or suggestions are appreciated

I have a HD QD windshield for my 14 Wide Glide and while it does a good job of keeping the wind, weather and road debris off of my chest and helmet I get strong wind buffeting from underneath the windshield even with a tool bag on the forks. I also have a National Cycle Flyscreen mounted and it does a great job of keeping the wind off of my chest for the higher speed highway driving but can take if off when I don't need it but it is not a QD design. When I was younger I could handle to wind all day but now I appreciate the windbreak on the longer rides.

shape & function wise I think they are both the same, the Harley has a nicer detach system because it leaves no hardware behind..

I like my HD quick detach, fits well, no hardware left behind and I bought the latch that has a lock so someone else doesn't "Quickly detach it."

Ditto on the HD qd, unbelievably easy to deal with. I had mine cut and smoked by a body shop guy I know, best 30 bucks I've spent!

I have one of the National Cycle windscreens. It comes off and goes on with little problem. I used one on my 1200C and another on my FXDC. They work great and are pretty inexpensive.
