memphis windshields
Got my HD detachable windshield scratched up with a little slide into a ditch on a rainy curve. I am wondering since I need a new one, if the Memphis windshield is any better?
I would like to have "some" adjustment to angle and or height that the HD windshield does not allow. I have a dyna wide glide. Any opinions on the Memphis windshield compared the the HD???

I have had both and the HD windshield seems to be a tad better. The mounts on the Memphis are definitely inferior to the HD. Another possible source is National Cycle. Their windshields are excellent, usually direct replacements for the HD, and their new QD setup is much better than the Memphis.

The HD quick release shield is very nice, on in about 20 seconds or less, off in about 10 seconds. I did have to add the Memphis Shades lowers to get rid of the wind coming up from underneath. They offer a 'quick release' kit to use with the HD/OEM windshield. The lowers cost about 54 bucks and the mounting kit about the same.
