This is my first build and it is a blast. This is where I am at today. Lots more that I am going to do and want to do so pics will come as I go but will be slow.
This forum has been a great instrument in tackling all of this myself.
2010 Wide Glide the day I got it.
Beginning ape install.
18" apes installed.
SMT Simply Sinister 23".
4" stretched bags.
Bags just mocked up.
Got some parts out for pc.
Front end parts I had coated by a friend. Will have to get the clamps redone at a later date. Can't complain to much, all I have in it is the labor.
Had Oldy's widen their soft tail overlay fender 1".
Minor trimming on the front and it fits perfect.
Air ride in the rear.
Rear is mocked up, waiting on taillights to come in.
Photoshop of what I hope it will look like before long.
Nice looking bike. But why didn't you just buy a bagger in the first place?
Then I wouldn't get to hang with the cool kids here in the Dyna section. Lol
Really, I have an hour commute, each way, to work and need the storage. Also, I went to buy a lowrider but didn't like the way it felt, sat on this one and fell in love. Love this look better than any of the stock baggers.
I like the look, but always curious how to ride such bikes. It doesn't look like it has any clearance at all..
DIY air ride in the rear. I added LA Choppers 1" lowering kit in the rear and 2" Progressive lowered springs in the front. I get plenty of clearance with the shocks aired up. I don't ride this bike hard, got the Suzuki and 2 Kawasaki funnybikes for going fast!
