Question Passing lights, odometer, speedo, horn, rear brake light, rear turn signals not worki

I just got back from a short weekend trip and everything was working last night. Got on my 02 FLHR today and everything listed in the subject line is now not working. When I turn on the ignition switch it cycles up with the headlight coming on, front parking lights, the passing lights flash and that's all. Oh did I stat that the front turn signal won't work but the parking lights are working. I checked all the fuses and connections and every thing seems to be fine. What am I missing. Help!

Have you done an work on your bike recently, such as changing handlebars? These sorts of problem often turn out to be mechanical, such as a wire come adrift, ground corroded, wire nipped, etc. Not easy to diagnose, just a matter of dogged determination, following the wiring for each thing that isn't working. Electrickery will do the Devil's work by finding an obscure way around the wiring, if something disturbs the route it should take, which is why it can be a challenge to solve.

First thing that comes to mind is a bad ground. If you've ever used a multi meter or such I'd recommend disconnecting the battery and doing a simple ohms test on your affected circuits to speed up the process of figuring out where your power interruption is being affected. Best of luck

TReaper,

I have the same problems with an 07 Heritage. What did you find out about the cause? Thanks
