Default Something different and practical

I have a 2000 fatboy. It has the 88ci engine with the big bore kit. I want to add the kick start to it but I don't know where to start or if its even possible. I have always been around the older bikes and love the look of them having the kick start. It would be practical also incase I ever had a dead battery. Question is can I do this and where would I get the kit? Harley may have one but I'd have to lose my left arm to get it or maybe sell some kidneys or something. What do you guys think and has anyone else added this to theirs?
