S&S 570's will run good with stock compression in a 103. To my understanding the recommend Max compression to run those is 10.0:1

I wish I could tell 'ya. I put a set in this Winter and well, it's still Winter, Dammit! Heads milled to get to 10.0:1 compression, and these are the easy starts. Sounds great in the garage though... ;-) Seriously though, do a search. LOTS of 'em out their, and they are routinely recommended by guys that build a lot of engines.

we use a lot of them, set them at 10.0-1,with headwork flowing in the 255+ @ 28" area and you`ll have a nice, mild hotrod build at just about any CID

I agree with Kirby. I took an 88" 02 Fatboy up to a 95" last year. Used 10:1 or 10.5:1 pistons (don't remember right now) and had quite a bit of headwork done to the stockers including larger valves, manual compression releases and .600-lift beehive springs. The cams feel and sound great. Changed the whole dynamic of the bike. Hit 1000 miles on the rebuild and was going to schedule a dyno tune and then hit a deer. !@#@!!! Just got the bike put back together this past weekend, so now I'm back to scheduling that dyno tune six months post deer strike...

We over-looked that cam until January of 2011, and in a 98" with our Stage II Heads, 10.0 cr, Rhinehart duals, ported t/body, it went off at 108/115, std, tuned in Illinois.

In my quest to figure which cams to go with when I do. I've talked to 2 Harley shops and 3 independent shops in what they think. One HD shop says go with 204's, the other HD says Woods 777. Two of the three independent shop's recommended the S&S 570, the third just said we'll do whatever you want.
Actually I wished I lived closer to Kirby or Scott, I'd just pull up, unload the bike off the trailer. Just say Hook me up right and call me she's done. LOL
