Default I can dig with a shovel

Forum newb. Finally got hands on my own h-d. 77 fxs. Had to sign up after discovering the thread of all knowledge whilst searching for casting #s. motor is leaking oil out push rod tubes at tappet blocks n smoking out rear cyl. second hand info. bought with motor out and partially tore down. want to know if my heads n cyls are oem. cyl #16587-66 and 16568-?? heads all i see is 11-76 n 12-76. motor is o.40 over i believe piston dome stamp o.4 cheap james gaskets ect.

I assume since 66 castings are mostly unchanged untill the 80". Low grade james gaskets may have been best avaliable at time of last rebuild.

Really nothing wrong with James gaskets.
They've been a mainstay in the industry for well over 3 decades.
