Default Stock Lifter Adjustment
So after lots of homework, I have made an educated decision to reuse the stock lifters with my upgrades...low mileage, relatively low lift of the 204 cam, etc. With the preload on the stock lifters, are you guys going right about the half way mark at .100, or are you going a little deeper?

Yes...have SE adjustables with 24 TPI.

start at 2.5 turns if valve train is quiet your ok.

2.5 turns = 15 flats?? And that's assuming my 24 TPI?

24tpi = .042 x 2.5 = 1.05 yes 15 flats.

a buddy of mine is running his stock lifters @ 3.5 turns with S&S 585's and its quiet and has had no issues.
