anybody use v thunder lifters (short travel) in there HD ????

I don't but I do run the small block Chevy 850-1 lifters in my Street Glide. I'm very happy with them.

Many CompCams VThunder 850-1 lifters in use with no issues. IIRC, they are the same as the SBC lifter.

Standard travel but as quiet as anything I have heard (I use adjustable PRs too)

thanks for the quick turnaround !!, I have SE adj in and Andrews 26 cams but the stock lifters are startin to pick up noise now 26.000mi, I bought the lifters when I had the cams,but couldn't find anybody that could give me the adjust turns at that time ,!!,think its one turn ??

Nope, it's 2-1/2 turns for the SE quick install pushrods.

That's the instructed pre load but most find that it will take 3 turns or a bit more to quiet things down.

Yup, I go 2-1/2 plus 2 flats with mine, so just under 3 turns here.
