Default Moron of the month...Blew up my wide glide!

Installed MR-103s. Se camplate, quickies, premium lifters and SE pump in a 13 fxdwg. All went really well.
Fired it up and for awhile it sounded real good...Then all hell broke loose. The front cylinder started hammering like hammer forge. It turns out that I never put the antirotation pin back in. No, this is not my first rodeo, I just plain f**ked up.
I pulled the push rods and the front exhaust rod was very loose. Yes, it was adjusted on the base circle of the cam. The rod is not bent. The lifters are ok. No damage in the cam chest. Intake rod was fine.
What do you think? Bent exhaust valve? Broken spring? Just order a new piston now or tear it down first? I have an extra front head so I'm good there.
Anyone want to stop by my place and just shoot me?
I'm just going to go and drink heavily.

I must have done this job 10-12 times without a hitch. Just shoot me!
Antirotation pin stops the lifters from rotating and stops their upward motion. It's held in place by the lifter cover.

Good chance you bent a valve if the pushrod is loose yet not bent. If you messed up the piston cylinder just shoot me a PM, I have two or 3 sets of late model 103 take off's here with low miles you can have one for shipping if needed. I also have several sets of stock heads but now might be a nice time to send out the heads and get them worked over a bit if you do have problems there. And stop calling yourself a moron, anyone that says they have never made a mistake has never done **** in the first place.

Hard to say until you get the rocker covers off then all should become clear.
