Default High engine idle - Dyna Streetbob

Hi.
I have an issue with high engine idle. Checking the fault codes, I picked
up a P1034 code (Front oxygen sensor inactive). I re-set the codes, rode the bike but it came back. I would like to know if there is a chance that the issues are related?

Check the connection with the front O2 sensor.

So you get a code for the front o2 sensor and reset it and it comes back and you think it might be something else? What advice are you looking for?

I am going to fix the O2 sensor. I just want to know if a faulty O2 sensor can cause a high idle condition. If it can, I will just be re-assured that I am close to resolving the issue.

Clean your IAC and Check for intake leakage as well.

The sensor shouldn't affect the idle. Very likely you need to clean the IAC.
