Default 103 vs. 110

i have a 2014 street glide special and a friend of mine bought a new engine for his 2010 cvo ultra and he gave me his heads and jugs, i was wanting to know how much of a performance improvement it would be to use the 110 heads on my 103 and use my se255 cams or just do the complete upgrade pistons, jugs, cams and heads. any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Those heads are 95cc chambers. Combined with the 103 flat tops, your compression would be 9:1- reduce heat and performance at the same time

On top of that, the CVO cylinders won't fit on a 103 without some machine work on the cases. The other option is to use the "drop in" cylinders, which have thinner spigots than the CVO cylinders do.

Sell the CVO stuff and use the $$ to subsidize building a 110" motor for your bike.

It appears that the OP is letting the availability of free parts drive the build; not a good idea. Identify the goal for the build, develop a build plan to achieve the goal and let the plan drive the combination of parts required to work the plan. If the available free parts can be incorporated into the build plan, that would be the way to use them but if not, move on.

Ok, this is what I'm trying to achieve, increased horsepower with great low end torque, any suggestions would be appreciated, the free parts are not a driving factor, those i can sell. just thought since i had them might as well try to use them, but if they are not what i need then that isn't a factor. thanks

You can keep your bike a 103 and gain hp and tq by doing head work, 58mm TB and cam swap along with a good tune, that's what I did. Or you can go to the 110 bolt on kit from HD or S&S and gain as well. Lot's of options, 107 big bore is another one.
Go to J&B Performance FB page and look at some of the builds they've done, that may give you some ideas.

Sell the CVO stuff, bore to 107, get heads ported and discuss cam selection based on "increased HP with great low end torque" with the head guy, build it, tune and done. Not so sure the 58mm T/B is worth the cost in performance but that is another discussion to be had with your head guy. Two forum sponsors that offer kits and can help with the build plan; Scott at Hillside Cycles and Kirby at VeeTwin Performance. Give them a call and chat them up, either one will do a great job.
