since you've got the ECM for the 103",just use the t. body on the 103"

One thing to note is that the TB for a 14 Street glide is fly by wire.

this should be doable as long as I use the switches and throttle by wire setup from the 14 SG, correct? Gauges I can figure out later.

I tried a search on motor swaps to see what is involved going from, say, a 2002 88 to a 2009 96 but came up empty.

I have been slowly collecting parts to do an upgrade but keep seeing low mileage later model motors and transmissions showing up on Craigslist. I saw one such set up out of a 2009 for $3,000.00.

Assuming you buy a motor and transmission with throttle by cable, how much modification is required to fit into an earlier (2002 in this case) frame?

I believe your swingarm pivot shaft sizes will have changed?

2002 swingarm holes is the same size as the 09.. It should drop right in but you will also need a 09 starter, clutch cable and primary. It's easiest to use the 02 throttle body but the later throttle bodies can be adapted. Some connectors are different.
