I was unable to ride my beloved 06 FLHT for about 8 months and after getting her back in the wind I'm finding several seals that are less than 2 years old weeping some oil. Base gaskets, lifter blocks, primary cover, possibly crank position sensor and oil temp sensor. I made the mistake of not changing the oil before riding again but it was hard to justify seeing as about 500 miles before I had to park her I had done all fluids and it was in a garage in Texas where the weather isn't too bad. Anyways I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to rejuvenate the seals. I have a primary cover gasket so that ones easy but the base gaskets for the jugs are kinda a pita to replace lol

 

Question? Are you using synthetic oil? If so try changing back. It may take a while to stop but It worked on my 05 Ultra.

Lucas synthetic 20-50 in the pan, Rotella T6 in the primary, Lucas gear oil in the trans.

 

 

That sounds kinda young for gaskets to be failing. What brand gaskets are they, and who did the work?

 

Mixture of Cyco and James gaskets. I did the top end about 2 years ago
