Default '09 flhtcu kept shutting down

I was 10 miles away and heading for home when my twin cam 96 starting bogging out. it shut off , I'd wait a minute and start it back up. It would go another 1/4 mile maybe less. I did this most of the way home. 1/2 mile from home and now it wont start and it sounds like the battery is getting weak from all the restarts, so I left it sit for an hour and went home. I went back and tried it and it started up so I ride it home put it garage and let run while I walk back over to get my truck. Its sitting there running at least 10 minutes or so before I shut it off. every time it shut off it was like its running out of the fuel so I don't know if theres a clog in the fuel filter or possible the fuel pump is going out? any body have any ideas on this? thanks in advance if any of you knowledgeable guys know what would cause this. Bike has 39300 miles, and I have never changed the fuel filter yet.

How many miles on bike? Have you changed fuel filter, in tank lines (pin holes), maybe cracked regulator housing? Check fuel pressure, and go from there.

I had it at the dealer and they replaced the fuel filter and regulator. We’ll see how it goes from here but they told me if shuts down again to unplug my power commander and see if that makes a difference.

You should dielectric grease the connections on the PCV and also on your plug behind the air cleaner by the throttle body.
It keeps out the moisture and keeps it from corrosion.
It really does help a lot and could be the source of your issue(s).
