Default Not getting fuel

Since I'm not really up on twinkies and EFI, figured I'd ask some of you:
I've got an 07 Ultra...starts, runs and rides when it's been sitting for a day or two. After it gets shut off it won't restart. I finally narrowed it down to a fuel issue. The way it was acting was like the fuel filter was clogged. So, installed a new fuel filter and, since I was in there, installed a new fuel pump. Started right up and rode it for a bit. Shut it off and back to the same problem...wouldn't start. Any one else seen this?

Grasping at straws here because I don't have a direct answer for you. Here's a few ideas:
Did you inspect the internal hose for pinholes?
Tank liner for peeling?
Check valve, and o-rings?

Hmmm...no, no and no. Thx. I did inspect the inside of the tank with a flashlight and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary on the tank walls. I put a new hose between the filter and pump and didn't even think about checking the other one. Duh!
Thanks for the tips. Back to the drawing board. Why couldn't it be a shovel!

Update: turned out to be the fuel regulator.

Tip: When replacing the fuel filter, fuel pump, or anything else on that in-tank fuel system, go ahead and replace it all. Save yourself some headache and it's not overly expensive.

The internal O-rings on the fuel lines are bad. Fairly common problem. You'll need to replace the fuel lines. You can buy the OEM ones, which are not serviceable, or you can buy the Goodridge HDFL005 aftermarket product. They look better, Chrome, are cheaper, and the internal O-rings are serviceable. Make sure you buy new O-rings and Jesus clips for the injectors. Buy a couple of extra clips because "Jesus, they will go flyin".

but it’s not leaking from there. So if it leaking from the threads it’s the internal o rings

How many miles do you have on the bike? If you changed the external O-rings, and it is still leaking, either you buggered up the threads, and it is not sealing, the O-rings you replaced are no good, or it's something else. If the threads are good, and the O-rings are not nicked, then the only other option is the non-serviceable internal O-rings.
