And on the flip side of it, absolutely nothing wrong with the OEM pump/plate.
That is what we use in our Dyna shop mule test bike.

We all know the cranks have a bit of play in the wobbly end right?
I’m just wondering if adding a cam plate smoothies out this wobble so the engines will last longer?
I put my second to last twin cam together knowing it had a .0075 runout and it didn’t last. I wondered if I should have used a cam plate for stability?

I just can't believe what is being considered acceptable crankshaft runout in the service manual. I'm also rethinking the oil pump campmate option. Thinking of staying OEM.
