Looking for some feedback on these parts, compared to OEM and other aftermarket tensioners?
I had the Zippers tensioners installed when I upgraded my cams at 60,000. I now have over 123,000 miles and will be going back into the cam chest to inspect soon. My plan is to replace the shoes, bearings, and lifters over the winter. I'll post my findings with pictures in the next 30 days.
no better or worse than your OEM tensioners, put the $$ back in your wallet or use it some other place where it will actually make a difference
My OEM shoes at 60,000 still looked very good but wanted to replace them so I spent the extra $$$ required instead of going back to stock. I also would not hesitate to trust ProDrags advice. My mechanic had the Zippers in stock and I saw them and thought they were cool so I purchased them.

Thanks Scott I been waiting to see a reply from a few different people. Just looking for quality parts to install while I am doing cams. Reading the forum I realized upgrade oil pump and cam plate not needed, but what about axtell oil pressure bypass valve? Your thoughts would be appreciated, Happy Thanksgiving !!!

Kool. Add a signature line to your user on your bike. Year, model and all the letters. You running roller chains or link? Most rollers will go 100 K. They groove to rollers and then roll. They won't wear after rolling . Even then, you would probably only need to replace since in time, they can age harden in hot oil. And crack..
The oem shoes in my '13 softail looked like brand new @ 29,000. Never gave them another thought when I did cams. Replaced inner bearings and wrapped it up.
