Default Another tensioner question!

Who is running the Screaming Eagle cam tensioner upgrade, how do you like it and why not S&S? I have my beer and chips awaiting replies....

I am. The S&S kit was more expensive and somewhat an unknown to me at the time. I also believe the S&S kit uses the "conversion" cams and I didn't want to mess with that.

Since there are two distinctly different cam chain tensioner systems employed in the Twin Cam series, why don`t you just tell us the model and year of the bike you are working on?

This is of course assuming you are working on a TC engine.

Put these in my old '03 January 2014. Son owns it now and we rode from Indiana to Sturgis and back last year. Easy straight forward install, loads better than the spring tensioners that wore out 2X before 50Kmiles and do not require the aftermarket cams and gear drive. Well cant add a pic as I have lost my status, you will need to visit my User profile to see the pic
