Hey. I have a 09 classic. It came with a 27685-08A T/B .I replaced it with a 27685-11 this summer because of stripped plastic gears. Didn,t know if it would work right but it worked great. I got a chance to buy a 27685-11A just to have but not sure what the A means. need help. thanks.

I took a chance on the 11 and found no difference in performance thankfully, so wondering if im pushing my luck with a 11 A .if there is a difference i would like to know before a purchase. thanks.

 

Don't know what the difference is between -11 and -11A but maybe the plastic gears were replaced with better material? Isn't that what the MoCo does? Replace a weak part with something more durable? The A is an upgrade, not larger or smaller but whatever was changed should not have an effect on power delivery.

 

typical mo co. will only fix its flaws when enough of us complain. As long as the wire plug in the side is the same, hopefully everything else will work. the 11 version looks exactly the same as the 08A and works the same. thanks.
