Default What’s this noise?

On a road trip at the moment. Stopped at some point and noticed a strange noise. Bike has 200 miles on it. All fluid levels are good. Nothing loose that I can find. And no warning lights.

Sounds like valve train, maybe rocker bolt broke/loose. Take off covers , start with one you think sound is coming from.

Stop in at a local HD dealer and have them check it out.

There is only one thing you can do.

Find a dealer.

It’s at the dealership right now. No call yet on the status.

Just talked to the dealer. Said it was a bad piston and destroyed the cylinder. They’ve been waiting on Harley to approve the warranty before ordering the parts to repair it. 300 total miles on this bike…
