Default Valve stem oil seals

As some of you have read, the bike I inherited from my pops has been sat a while, anyway after riding her around a little, we have notice quite obviously what we suspected in that the valve stem oil seals are shot, leaking oil past them, the spark plugs I just swapped out were covered in oil and the rear cylinder exhaust port is blowing oil also,

I plan to get this done after my vacation in Florida at the end of april, but until then would you ride it? Or leave it parked up?

cheers

I wouldn't ride it till it's fixed.
Send the heads to Scott at Hillside Cycle and he will fix you right up.

You don't need compression releases for any of that unless you are over 11-1 on your pistons.

Nah dad said they've gone before. Engine was rebuilt 2000 miles ago.

Obviously oils leaking through the oil seals hence its in places it shouldn't be

Sounds like somebody didn't fix it right if all you got out of it was 2k miles.
I thought y'all used kilometers over there..

I still recommend Scott but who ever you have rebuild it I like the behive springs....

Just a thought.

Oh and you don't have cams in there.
EVO's only have one cam.

Assuming they were replaced during the rebuild, they sure didn't last long.
