Soldered in fresh wire, wrapped it all up nicely, and tucked it up good and made sure the holding tabs held the wires down tight. Got it all put back together today... the struts are def straighter and the fender sits over the rear tire straighter, but I guess when the PO laid it down it also tweaked the fender a little bit because even though the struts are straight, the fender still doesn't sit 100% straight. The rear tire is a little bigger than it should be, but it doesn't make contact when it's just me on it, so I'm not worried about it. The mag on the rear is one of those solid ones they put on the softails. When this rear tire wears out I'm going to put a 9 spoke mag front and rear and then put a 130mm rear tire on it and that should take care of any future clearance issues. A job well done I guess. Front rubber mount replacement will be done in another 2 or 3 weeks... at least before I ride it to Texas in late March.

Thanks guys.
