So when I ordered oil for all my fluid changes, I ordered both 10w-40 and 20w-50. Manual says use 10w-40 under 40F degrees, and 20w-50 over 40F degrees. Today I used the 20w-50, seems to run pretty quiet.


What weight do you all run and when? I really don't recall why I ordered the 10w-40, since I really wont ride under 40F degrees. Should be fine to use sometime tho I guess.

 

20/50 Valvoline in motor,Valvoline90 gear oil in tranny , Drag Specialties primary in primary all season long.

HD non-synthetic 20W50 in the motor, Mobil 1 ATF in the primary, Mobil SHC630 in the trans.

Mobil 1 20W-50 for the motor.
Any decent ATF in the primary. (Anything works that won't make the clutch slip)
Red Line Shockproof in the Tranny.

What are these seasons you speak of?

VR1 20w-50 in winter time, Valvoline VR1 straight 50 in the summer
Valvoline 80w-90 hypoid in trans
Rotella T or Type F ATF in primary depending on season.
