It really does not impress women, so it's not worth doing.

I'd rather use my clutch and belt for adding miles and hitting coffee shops.

I was at a rally last spring and this dude was putting gas down, lighting it on fire, then doing a burnout in it. It looked cool but hard on a bike.

Not in a million years with my steel steed. I worked way to hard and saved way to long to abuse her like that, I respect her and she hasn't let me down yet. If that's what some choose to do with their bike, power to them it's their bike. And they are fun to watch too

I like to get back home from a ride without 'incident'! It's exciting enough to ride an old bike a long way, without the extra adrenalin rush of thrashing it to within an inch of it's life, halfway.....

3rd, or 4th gear back into a little water and let-r-rip if so inclinded.
Just don't do it for a long time as there is no air blowing over the engine.
Goin' to a smoke show........

I have been known to light up the rear tire on my Wide Glide. 2nd gear, stand up and get a big handful of front brake and let 'er rip.

Good for the bike, absolutely not.

Fun, yes.

Does it impress the ladies? Only if the right one's are standing around!!!

The 2 in the middle belong to my son the ones on the ends are mine. They are 20" and he is 5'8", they are about 2" over his head while riding. Little crazy but so is he. To each his own!!!!!
